Coach Pfeifer on Weisz: “I was very pleased with our road win at NNU, however I was extremely proud of the performance and lift Adam gave us to capture the victory. Early on Adam has had some sickness and minor injuries. It will be critical that he continues along the path he created for himself at the end of last year."
2008-2009: Played in 15 games as a junior for the Yellowjackets...played 52 minutes on the year and scored 11 points...mainly played a backup role for the Yellowjackets, but had his best game at Northwest Nazarene as had a major part in the 10th victory of the season for MSUB...had a late game steal and basket in a one-point game that changed the momentum and helped propel the Yellowjackets to victory...went 9 of 13 from the charity stripe (.692) and pulled down five rebounds.
Dawson County Community College: Averaged seven points and two assists per game…shot 45% from the floor, 37% from behind the arc and 70% from the free throw line … Helped his team to a record of 20-10…was selected team captain…two-time all-academic conference selection.
Melstone High School: Earned four letters in basketball…as a senior, averaged 24 points, five rebounds and four assists per game…helped his team win the Class C State Championship...was a three-time all-conference and two-time all-state selection…co-MVP of the state tournament as a senior…helped his squad to the state semi-finals as a sophomore…lettered in football and track…earned all-state honors in football.
